Red Savina Peppers

The red savina is a selectively grown and bred habanero pepper which has resulted in a much hotter, heavier, and larger pepper. The cultivation was done by Frank Garcia in California who has kept his method secret to this day. It was recognized as the world's hottest pepper until 2006 when it was replaced by the bhut jolokia pepper from India.
